Corofin tourist & visitor information

Corofin is located at the southern end of the Burren and is often described as the gateway to the Burren. Corofin has a number of Bed and Breakfasts and there are a number of hotels close by. There are also self catering cottages and apartments in the area. There is a lively nightlife in the town during the tourist season and the locals are friendly and happy to chat to all their visitors. If your interested in hill walking or guided cycling or walking tours there are a number of local resources and guides in the area. If golf is your passion a trip to Lahinch is a must though you will need to book well in advance to get a tee time during the season.If you have time a short hop out to the Aran Islands via the ferry from Doolin or Liscannor is a very enjoyable day trip.
